LOVE SUMMER WINS – 10K PRIZE DROP - TERMS & CONDITIONS

SUMMARY TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

GB,18+ years of age. Promotion runs from 24th July to 3rd September (closing at 23:59 on the 3rd, so ends at midnight). No purchase needed.

There are up to £44,503 worth of Spot Prize Vouchers to be won during the total Promotion Period and a Grand Prize of £10,000 to be won at the end of the Promotion by one lucky customer. Redemptions are only valid in participating stores which will be listed on the website (https://www.spar-wins.co.uk/stores)

Prize Spot Vouchers are valid for 7 days. Non-redeemed vouchers will be readded back into the Spot Prize Voucher pot until the campaign ends. No cash alternatives will be provided.

FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

INTRODUCTION:

The Promoter of the Promotions described within these terms is A.F. Blakemore and Son Ltd, whose registered address is the Longacres Industrial Estate, Rose Hill, Willenhall, West Midlands, WV13 2JP (the “Promoter”).
By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or policy materials.

ELIGIBILITY:

The competition is only open to all residents in the UK, aged 18 years or over, except:

employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies.
employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
residents of Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.
Internet access and potential use of camera is required if you wish to enter the Promotion.

PRIZE PROMOTION:

The Prize Promotion will be live, and entries will be accepted between 00:00 on 24th July (the "Opening Date") to 23:59 on 3rd September (the "Closing Date”) (the “Prize Promotion Period”).
Entries received before or after the end of the Prize Promotion Period will not be valid.

HOW TO ENTER:

Spot Prize Voucher Terms:

To enter the competition, participants will need to visit a participating SPAR store and scan a QR code. This QR code will direct participants to the game hosted via the website (https://www.spar-wins.co.uk). There will be social media posts, and a Spotify advert created for the campaign, which participants can access the game from.
Participants must enter their personal details which will enable them to play the game once per day for the duration of the Prize Promotion Period.
By playing, participants will be required to slide a basket from left to right. Products will begin to fall and if they catch a star, they win a Spot Prize Voucher.
Participants will have a maximum of two attempts per day, per person to play the game.
If participants fail the game on both the first and second attempt, they will not be able to replay the game on that day and will not have a chance to win a Spot Prize Voucher. They can, however, replay the game the following day.
If participants fail the first game, they will have the opportunity to watch a short, sponsored video to claim a second attempt at the game and a chance to win a Spot Prize Voucher.
If participants are successful on the first attempt of the game, they will not be able to replay the game.
Please note that there will only be one Grand Prize entry per person, per day.
If a participant has successfully won a Spot Prize Voucher, they must visit a participating SPAR store within seven days of winning to redeem their Spot Prize Voucher. If a winning participant does not claim their Spot Prize Voucher within seven days of winning, their voucher will become invalid. All unclaimed spot prize voucher’s will be put back into the Spot Prize Voucher pot.
In the event that a Spot Prize Item is out of stock when participants visit a participating SPAR store, the store can offer participants an alternative prize of equal value.

Grand Prize Terms:

The Grand Prize Element refers to the £10,000 prize draw that one successful participant will win.
Alongside the Spot Prize Vouchers, every day that a participant plays the game (regardless of winning or not), the participant will gain one entry into the Grand Prize.
At the end of the Promotion, every single entry will go into a draw and StormNet will screen record the use of random number generator to select the winner.

The Grand Prize is:

£10,000.00

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:

Stormnet (a third party, responsible for developing and hosting the site) will use a random generator to independently select one winner of the Grand Prize.
The Promoter will contact the selected winner via phone call and/or email which was collected from the participant in putting their details to log in to the game.
If the selected winner has not replied within 1 week of being notified of their success, the Promoter will draw and contact an alternative participant to claim the Grand Prize.

CLAIMING THE PRIZE:

The Grand Prize of £10,000 will be paid to the winner via bank transfer. The winner must confirm their identity and banking details prior to receiving the payment.
Subject to the winner’s consent, the Promoter will request for a PR shoot to be taken at their local SPAR store, with a quote about what the Grand Prize money means to the winner.

LIMITIATION OF LIABILITY:

The Promoter’s decision regarding any aspect of the Promotions is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. The Promoter reserves the right to replace any of the Spot Prize Vouchers or Grand Prize with an alternative Spot Prize Vouchers or Grand Prize of equal value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control make it necessary to do so.
Neither the Spot Prize Vouchers nor the Grand Prize are transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for any other form of compensation.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend any of the Promotions where it becomes necessary to do so.
No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason.
The Promoter is not responsible in the event that a winner fails to receive their Spot Prize Voucher or Grand Prize as a result of having provided inaccurate or incorrect contact details or failing to claim their Prize in time.
The Promoter will request that the winners participate in publicity arising from any of the Promotions. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and the Spot Prize Voucher and/or Grand Prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
As far as permitted by law, the Promoter together with any associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the Spot Prize Voucher and/or Grand Prize, except for any liability caused by the Promoter’s negligence. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
An entry must be made directly by an individual acting in their personal capacity. Bulk entries into any of the Promotions from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means together with entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms & Conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by trying to increase their entries into any of the Promotions in a way that is not consistent with the rules of any of the Promotions, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified, and any Spot Prize Voucher and/or Grand Prize awarded will be void.
The Promoter may refuse to award a Spot Prize Voucher and/or Grand Prize in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach, or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions or seek recovery of its value if the Spot Prize Voucher or Grand Prize has been awarded.
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Any and all personal data provided by you in connection with any of the Promotions will be used solely by the Promoter (or its appointed agents) to: (i) assist with running the Promotions; and/or (ii) conduct analytics to improve the Promoter’s promotions, products or services. The Promoter (or its appointed agents) will not contact you for reasons other than the Promotions unless you have provided your express consent. No personal data provided by you in connection with any of the Promotions will be shared with any sponsoring brand partners. All personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at participating stores.
Except where a winner has requested that their details are not shared, the winners' details (abbreviated names only) will be available for a period of 30 days from the end of the Grand Prize Promotion Period by emailing marketing@afblakemore.co.uk using “SPAR Winners’ List” in the subject line. The Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.

JURISDICTION:

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
